The playground is located next to the cricket ground and close to Sunningwell Church of England Primary School.
It was re-opened on 31st May 2012 after years of hard work by many different people to replace the original swings with an extensive £37000 playground.
The Parish Council has appointed MRH Services to undertake two visits a year to inspect and repair all the equipment.
Additionally there is an annual safety inspection by RoSPA, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
